Melissa had a play date with our neighbor, Anouk and Marine yesterday. They are from France and relocated to US because of their daddy's job. Anouk is 5 and half years old, and Marine is almost 4 years old. They are very friendly to Melissa, and Melissa had so much fun that she didn't want to come home. It's nice to have the opportunity to get to know someone with a different culture, since there're way too many Chinese people in the Bay Area!

Fun time with Grant

This past weekend, we met up with Mommy's friend, Grace and her son, Grant. Melissa and Grant had a wonderful time at the park, and then we went to eat Dim Sum afterwards. Here is a video of Melissa playing with Grant:

Melissa Dresses Like a Ballerina

Recently, Melissa starts to talk about how much she wants to be a ballerina and wears those beautiful ballerina dress. Yesterday, we got her a beautiful skirt similar to the ballerina skirt, and we also found a ballerina shoe from Auntie Susan. Melissa was so excited to dress like a ballerina. Melissa Reading Story

Melissa speaks very well for her age, and her pronunciation is quite clear. Recently, she also starts telling us stories, and whenever there's a new word, she will ask what it means. Check out this video of Melissa reading a story:
