Melissa's Major Milestone 8-9 Month

Here are some major milestones when Melissa is 8-9 month old:

• Starts to cry or complain when people leaves her behind.
• Sleeps through the night without waking up (usually from 9-10pm to 7-8am)
• She would rather play than sleep (just like all the kids)
• Gets distracted very easily while eating solid food or drinking milk
• Doesn’t like to eat her own pureed food and is more interested in adults’ food
• Can sit up from facing down position.
• Her two bottom front teeth all came out.
• Crawl pretty well and likes to explore new areas.
• Grab onto something to stand up.
• Still takes 2 naps (one in late morning and another one in the afternoon).
• Not as interested in her toys that much and likes to play our toys like remote controls, magazine, keys, etc. Day care teacher says she likes to play lego and cars. (Melissa seems to be a tomboy!!)
• Grab Cheerios and put them in her mouth by herself sometimes.
• When you say “NO” to her, she will stop whatever she is doing and look at you, but she will continue her action after 10 seconds.
• Shakes and bangs all the toys before eating them.
• First time sitting in the real swing at park, and she laughs like crazy! However, she cries when you try to push her from behind.
